- Like Solaris, I didn’t think much was achieved buy laying out an interesting, but unsatisfying tale. I haven’t seen either movie (Solaris), so I was not influenced by them. Perhaps I’ll return to this novel and try to find out where I missed the ‘masterpiece’ part.
