So me and my friend recently got Warhammer 2, we both have the first as well, and when we tried to use LAN I couldn't join his game nor could I hast a Mortal Empire game. The other I could just can't remember what it was called. Never tried to see if he could join that though. Since then we have been playing over the net. Multiplayer refers to game modes where two or more people play the Total War: Warhammer series together over the internet. To play together, both players MUST be playing the same game (TWW1 or TWW2) with the same patch /update version. Each player requires their own separate copy of the game, and a Steam account.
